My dear furrriends! It is an absolute honour to have my dear furrriends Sir Mickee and Sir Groucho of Miami for a Q&A. Yes, you read that correctly! They are Sirs as they have both received official knighthoods from yours truly, King Nacho!
These dudes are the real deal. Bad Boys is a fictional film set in Miami. Mr Smith and Mr Lawrence aren't really bad boys. They are just playing a role. Mickee and Groucho however, are the real bad boys of Miami. The coolest cats around! To mess with Mickee and Groucho is to mess with an army of cats who will have their backs at the drop of a hat. I'm just kidding! They are really sweethearts but it is true that many a cat would have their back, should any trouble arrive!

Mickee: I’m 10 and I was born in Tampa, Florida but I live in the Florida Keys now!
Groucho: Me too! What he said!
What breed of cats are you?
We are exotic shorthairs!
Let's start simple. What are your favourite foods?
Mickee: Roast beef, fancy feast, and chicken of course!
Groucho: Treats, treats, and more treats!
What are your favourite toys?
Mickee: Laser pointer, Mr. Pumpkin
Groucho: Feather on a string and anything that can be stolen from Mickee 😹
Recreational or medical catnip?
Recreational! We looove catnip bubbles
What does the average day consist of for you both?
We wake up every day at the crack of dawn and cry outside the hooman’s bedroom doors until they let us in to drink from the water bowls they keep in their rooms for us! We have a big water bowl in our kitty room but we prefer their water! Then we eat some breakfast, take our post-breakfast naps, eat some leftovers from our bowls, then rotate nap spots all day until it’s dinner time! Finally, we hop in bed with the hoomans at night and sleep until whenever we feel like leaving in the middle of the night 😸
What three things please you the most?
Mickee: Assorted meats, being left alone and spending time outside!
Groucho: Attention, snacks, and having conversations with hoomans
What three things annoy you the most?
Mickee: Groucho, when people pet me too much, and baths!
Groucho: Mickee 🙄, car rides, and not having everyone’s full attention 24/7
Do you like bellyrubs or is this a no go zone for the hoomans?
We both love belly rubs! 😻
If you ruled the world, what rules would you implement?
Every restaurant and pet store must contain an unlimited treat and tuna bar. Society must have a mandatory 16 hour napping period per day. Every cat is entitled to a large statue at the location of their choosing. We also request that our hoomans be set for life in order to give them time to be our full-time butlers.
If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?
A seafood market! We both would be in heaven and steal all the tuna in the world 🐟
If your hooman won a million dollars, what would you make them buy you?
Mickee: Bodyguards to protect me from
Groucho’s bullying! I will sit in peace on all the comfy pillows I will also make my pawrents get me
Groucho: Soooo many bags of treats! And I would make them hire me someone whose sole job it is to give me belly rubs and brushes any time I want!
If you could remake any film but with cats instead of hoomans, what would it be and why?
We would remake Titanic! We think we could do it better because we’re actually afraid of water and wouldn’t have to act!

How has life changed for you both ever since you received your knighthoods? Do people treat you differently?
Our lives will never be the same as they were before knighthood. We have never been so honored nor have we had such a large responsibility. Everyone tries to treat us like kings now, and we must inform them that we are simply knights, and you, Sir Nacho, are the King! We won’t let anyone else disrespect you & defend your honor!
What advice would you give to hoomans?
Stop going wherever it is that you go during the day. What could be more important than us and giving us attention??! Additionally, stop calling OUR things yours, you should be asking for our permission as it rightfully belongs to us! The biggest piece of advice we could give you is to provide more pets and more food, and hope you put it into effect immediately.
Tell us the naughtiest things you have ever done?
We hid a catnip toy somewhere around our house a few years ago, and none of the hoomans have been able to find it! So every once in a while, we will randomly get zoomies to the max and run around like crazy! They’ll NEVER find it!
A wise man once said "cats rule and dogs drool". What are your thoughts on this staement?
We say that wise man is wise for a reason! Cats are definitely the best! We rule our kingdoms (homes) in a way that dogs never could! And we never drool (well…Mickee doesn’t) 😹
Dogs have been using Instagram to spread their propaganda and disinformation. How do you feel about this and what advice would you give Mark Zuckerberg to tackle this issue?

Do you use any other social media besides Instagram?
Yes we do! We have a TikTok which is also @mickeeandgroucho! Most of the reels we post on our Instagram are from our TikTok account 😸
